Mark Del Rosso, who served as Audi of America's president for about six months, has resigned from his role. Cian O'Brien, chief executive officer of Audi's U.S. business, is taking over on an interim basis.
Del Rosso began leading the luxury brand in October, after former Audi president Scott Keogh was named CEO and president of Volkswagen Group of America. Del Rosso started his role on Nov. 1.
Del Rosso spent 11 years in leadership roles with Audi and Bentley. He had served as Audi's COO before taking over the top leadership post. During nearly nine years leading U.S. sales, Audi more than doubled new-car sales and strengthened the brand in the U.S. luxury market.
O'Brien will maintain his COO role as Audi begins its search for a new president. He has been with Audi of America since 2017.
