BURLINGTON, NJ Arsenault Associates has begun shipping Dossier Version 5.0, the latest, feature-rich edition of the maintenance management software. Dossier 5.0 focuses on today's volatile energy and economic environment, and includes many new features and hundreds of software enhancements.

The Dossier Fuel Management System provides fleets with automated monitoring, reporting, and control of fuel. This money-saving feature includes new reports with decision support tools, as well as a graphical dashboard that displays data summaries and trends, so that users get the information they need without an overwhelming sea of data.

In many cases the Dossier Fuel Management System uses data already in the user database. After some quick setup, Dossier can provide a complete analysis to help identify problems and make decisions.  When used in conjunction with the Dossier Fuel Data Import option, which links to automated fuel islands, fuel card systems, credit cards, on-board computers, and GPS systems, the time-consuming entry of fuel and meter data is eliminated and data is more accurate and timely.

The Dossier Fuel Management System keeps fleets informed about fuel with current and historic use and management analysis tools. The system displays under- and over-performing drivers and equipment making it easy to spot problems and form an action plan.

"There is a tremendous amount of value in Dossier Version 5.0," said Bob Hausler, Arsenault Associates vice president, marketing and technology. "It represents the ideas, feedback, and suggestions of the Dossier user community, to whom we listen very carefully.  We're collectively all about making fleet maintenance easier, more efficient, and adding to the bottom line, for both current and future Dossier users."

Version 5.0 includes enhancements to the Dossier Daily Reminder dashboard that now displays fleet information with color graphs and charts as well as tabular views allowing rapid prioritization of work. Users can also configure their own toolbar with any system function, and managers can decide which features and icons can be seen and used by individual users.

Dossier 5.0 provides more flexibility in equipment specifications, which is especially helpful for users with dissimilar assets -- different types of vehicles, equipment and other non-mobile assets.

  • Estimated hours to perform PM services added to the Daily Reminder.

  • Expanded capability for Dossier Report Writer.
