PENNSAUKEN, NJ – ARI, a leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced it was recognized by the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of Autism Speaks as the Top Southern New Jersey Walk Now for Autism Speaks Fundraising Team of 2011.

This prestigious award is given to individual or corporate teams that go above and beyond to raise funds and increase autism awareness. In 2011, ARI and participants from its parent company, “Team Holman,” became the first organization to raise more than $30,000, making ARI the top fundraiser for the third consecutive year. ARI was honored during an award ceremony Friday, February 3in Almonesson, NJ.

“We are honored to be the recipient of this award,” said Bill Kwelty, Chief Quality Officer for ARI. “Autism Speaks is such a worthwhile cause that provides South Jersey families with extraordinary resources and care. We are proud to have played a part in supporting this deserving organization and we look forward to continuing our commitment in 2012.”

ARI has been an active participant in the annual Autism Speaks walk for the past four years. In their first year of participation, Team Holman was awarded the Rookie Team of the Year Award for raising more than $9,000 and placing third out of 210 teams. ARI has earned the top spot for its fundraising efforts every year since.

“ARI has played an integral part in our fundraising efforts over the past four years,” said Christina Carty, Executive Director of the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of Autism Speaks. “ARI provides a wonderful example of team fundraising in the workplace. It’s exciting to publicly recognize the company and its fundraising leaders during an awards reception like this, as it inspires other South Jersey teams in the room to engage their employers and colleagues in order to advance our mission.”
