Subaru will reveal its seventh-generation 2020 Legacy midsize sedan next week at the Chicago Auto Show, the automaker has announced.
Subaru offered few details about the new sedan, and will provide more information at a Feb. 7 press conference. The company released a photo of the sedan's interior that shows a large portrait touchscreen as the interface for its infotainment system.
The Legacy has been in its sixth generation since the 2015 model year, and was at one time the brand's top choice by commercial fleets. Subaru's crossovers have become more widely adopted by fleets in recent years with the growing popularity of SUVs.
Automotive Fleet editors tested the 2015 Legacy sedan, which we said "benefits from a redesign that should make it a more compelling midsize-sedan choice in one of the most competitive automotive segments. New safety technologies provide the strongest evidence for its case."
