The 2019 Work Truck eXchange (WTX) took place Oct. 16-18, 2019 at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Ariz. The three-day VIP networking event is in its fourth year and is produced by Bobit Business Media’s Work Truck and Automotive Fleet magazines.
WTX is an event where industry thought leaders can explore the essential components of creating and maintaining efficient and effective light- and medium-duty truck and van fleets. It connects a select group of commercial fleet managers for an all-inclusive, VIP networking retreat designed to accelerate the achievement of each participant's unique business goals.
Attendees participated in a Roundtable discussion discussing top industry trends including vehicle safety, spec’ing, and alternative fuels. Fleet managers were able to discuss these topics with both their peers and key companies in the industry, providing new angles and solutions to top-of-mind issues to truck and van fleets today. After the discussions, attendees shared some of their key takeaways with the full group.
Attendees were also provided the time and scheduled for several one-on-one meetings. These meetings are the new “speed dating” for fleet, allowing time for a face-to-face meeting with new suppliers but kept short and to the point.
Additional networking opportunities included the opening reception, breakfast, lunches, and dinners. A fun night out at Top Golf let everyone relax and help cement the friendships and new relationships created during the event.
If you missed it this year, don't wait - get on the list to apply for WTX 2020.
