2014 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year Named
Philips Electronics' fleet manager Gage Wagoner was named 2014 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year at the AFLA Conference on Sept. 9 in Las Vegas.

Philips Electronics' fleet manager Gage Wagoner was named 2014 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year at the AFLA Conference on Sept. 9 in Las Vegas.
During his acceptance speech, Wagoner said he was honored to be among the group of fleet professionals who have been his role models, teachers, and friends. Over the years, Wagoner has worked closely with eight of the past fleet manager of the year honorees on various OEM sounding broads and through AFLA.
The award is presented by Automotive Fleet and sponsored by Wheels Inc. and the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association (AFLA).
Wagoner, the company's senior manager of North American Fleet Administration, has spent 13 years with the company and manages 4,800 vehicles. Wagoner's recent achievements include reducing the lease cost AOP in CY-2014 by approximately $2.5 million through the aggressive shortcycling of 1,200-plus vehicles. He has also drafted and championed the company’s Global Fleet Policy, including the addition of global driver safety standards.
Wagoner emerged from a field of three finalists that also included Brenda Davis of Baker Hughes, Inc. and Kim Jamme of Teva Pharmaceuticals. The award was presented by Dan Frank, president of award Wheels, Inc.
