The all-new 2008 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans enter 2008 with more than 35 new and improved features, each designed to enhance the minivan class. Two features — the Swivel n’ Go and the Stow n’ Go — offer additional seating and storage. The all-new Swivel n’ Go seating system offers second-row seats that swivel 180 degrees to face the third row. It features a removable table that installs between the two rows, covered storage bins in the floor of the second row, third-row uncovered storage, and fold-in-the-floor third-row seating. Swivel n’ Go also offers an one-touch power-folding third-row 60/40 bench seat.

Also included is the Stow n’ Go seating system, which enables the second- and third-row seats to fold into the floor, providing 144 cu. ft. more storage and seating capacity.

Enhanced Safety
Safety features are important for every vehicle, and the Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country will only enhance those features in 2008. All-row supplemental side-curtain airbags, electronic stability program (ESP) with traction control and brake assist enhance driver safety, as well as a rearview interior conversation mirror, high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, and ParkSense rear back-up system also ensure peace of mind while traveling.

The 2008 Powertrain
The 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country offer five models and three powertrains. Dodge Grand Caravan offers three versions — SE, SXT, and the Caravan Cargovan (offered in SE model only). Chrysler offers three models for the Chrysler Town & Country — LX, Touring, and Limited.

Powertrain choices include a new 4.0L V-6, six-speed transmission with 240 horsepower, and a 3.8L V-6 with a six-speed transmission and 198 horsepower. Another option is a 3.3L flex- fuel V-6 with a fourspeed transmission and 170 horsepower. Varied engine options provide adaptability for a variety of driving conditions.

Features Add Convenience
Comfort and convenience features are added bonuses to any vehicle. Both minivans include new seating with heated first- and second-row leather or cloth seats with YES Essentials stain-resistant, odor-resistant, anti-static cloth fabric. First- and second-row power windows are also a new addition along with second- and third-row retractable sun shades, power sliding doors, power liftgate with remote, a 110V inverter, two second-row output/input jacks with a 12- volt power outlet, are and a dual- or trizone heating and cooling system.
