As a company vehicle, the 2019 Cadillac XT5 luxury crossover creates an impression of success for any business and recognition that it is earmarked for its top performers.

From a driver’s perspective, it will allow the top talent within your company to maneuver through their workdays in both comfort and style. The Cadillac XT5 is also a productivity tool whose intelligent technology and the Cadillac user experience seamlessly helps drivers stay connected and productive.

The 2019 Cadillac XT5 is offered in four trim levels: Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum trims. Automotive Fleet recently test drove the 2019 XT5 Platinum, which comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD). The twin-clutch AWD system is engineered for strong and safe performance in wet, snowy, or icy conditions, while reinforcing vehicle stability in dry conditions. The AWD system can be disconnected from the rear axle to enhance fuel efficiency.

The 2019 Cadillac XT5 Platinum is powered by a 3.6L V-6 engine featuring fuel-saving Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation and stop/start technologies, which offers seamless transitions from stop to start.

The V-6 engine generates 310 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift.

Based on my test drive, the XT5 offered agile driving dynamics, exceptional responsiveness, and strong acceleration. Also noticeable is that the engine is impressively quiet and engine noise is well isolated from the cabin.

The power liftgate has a programmable memory height and a hands-free feature on Platinum trim.
