2019 Mini Cooper Hardtop 4 Door

BMW's 2019 Mini Cooper Hardtop 4 Door is an ideal, if unexpected, sales fleet vehicle with its blend of fun-to-drive dynamics, sophisticated aviation-inspired styling, and relatively high fuel economy numbers. It's a satisfying reward for a higher performer.

Earlier this year, beauty brand Mary Kay announced it has added the vehicle to its selector lists with several tweaks that help enhance the company's pink branding efforts. BMW delivered the vehicle, after swapping out existing mirror covers, wheel centers, and bonnet stripes with pink versions of these exterior styling details.

Mini offers its Cooper as the two- or four-door Hardtop with a choice of two engines that BMW can tailor to assist with company branding with several optional appearance items. Mary Kay recently added the vehicle to its selector list.

BMW's Mini division offers its Cooper S 4-Door Hardtop in three trim grades, including Iconic, Signature, and Classic. Mary Kay chose Signature in black with pink accents, including the bonnet stripes on the hood.

Powertrain and Fuel Economy

Mini simplified the trim grades for the 2019 model year. The Cooper and Cooper S offer a 1.5-liter three-cylinder and 2.0-liter four cylinder respectively. The 2.0-liter engine uses BMW's double VANOS variable valve timing.

EPA-rated fuel economy for the standard Cooper fuel economy comes in at 28/35/30 city/highway/combined with the automatic transmission, and 25/32/28 for the Cooper S with an automatic transmission.

Buyers can add a John Cooper Works suspension package that's similar to the M Sport package on various BMW models.

Cargo volume ranges from 8.7 to 13.1 cubic feet and 38 to 40.7 cubic feet with the seating area.
