Nissan will give its flagship Maxima sedan a refresh for the 2019 model year that brings the Safety Shield 360 safety technology package and a fresh look, Nissan has announced.

Nissan will provide full details about the new sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November.

Safety Shield 360, which debuted on the 2019 Altima, includes six safety and driver-assisting technologies. It includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, adaptive headlights (High Beam Assist), and rear automatic braking. Nissan is also adding it to the 2019 Rogue.

The 2019 Maxima will go in sale in December.
