Fleet Forward: The Tour's Southern California stop is July 22, and there is much to learn from the panelists set to take the stage.
Many fleets right now are in the throes of the electrification process. While beginning the decarbonization process is important, it also requires planning and adapting to the requirements of an electrified fleet.
Fleet Forward: The Tour proudly announces panelists David Worthington, County of Santa Clara, and Clinton Bench, UCLA Transportation. Bringing their expert knowledge of public and private fleet management to the day-long conference, they will give insight into topics like adapting maintenance facilities for BEVs, including OSHA requirements, safe battery handling protocols, and staff training.
In the seminar, "Beyond Deployment: Managing BEV Safety & Operational Realities in Your Fleet," they will also cover traction battery warranties, charging disruptions, and the importance of backward-compatible replacements.
This session covers the essentials of effectively sustaining and scaling a BEV safety fleet.
