North America’s largest work truck event returns in person to Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, March 8–11, 2022, with an expanded format, new branding, and a familiar keynote speaker.

Building on the success of the 2021 virtual event, NTEA – The Association for the Work Truck Industry is adding a more robust online component and officially rebranding its annual industry gathering as Work Truck Week. During the 2022 event, The Work Truck Show exhibit hall, Green Truck Summit, and myriad offerings will be featured throughout the week, including NTEA Annual Meeting with keynote speaker Mike Rowe.

Educational sessions and Green Truck Summit begin March 8, and the exhibit hall is open March 9–11. Registration opens in October.

“The last 18 months have demonstrated how resilient the work truck industry is and the critical role it plays in keeping the world running, even in the most challenging circumstances,” says NTEA Board Chair Jon Sievert, president – work truck solutions at Douglas Dynamics Inc. “Throughout the pandemic, the hard-working women and men in our industry have continued to step up, demonstrating their unwavering commitment. I can’t overstate how grateful we are for their efforts and how much we all are looking forward to getting together face-to-face again to share our experiences and plan for the future.”

The 2022 Annual Meeting keynote speaker has devoted his career to promoting hard work and the people who do it. Best known as the “dirtiest man on TV,” a title he earned hosting the hit TV series Dirty Jobs, Mike Rowe is one of Work Truck Week’s most popular speakers, having first addressed a sold-out crowd in 2009.

Rowe returns to the stage on Thursday, March 10, to share the surprising lessons he learned while working as an apprentice and talk about opportunities that exist in the most unlikely professions.

Rowe is also the founder and CEO of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity that debunks myths and misperceptions about the trades and helps close the skills gap in today’s workforce. He currently stars in the discovery+ series Six Degrees, hosts Somebody’s Got to Do It on TBN, and won an Emmy for his work on Facebook’s groundbreaking series Returning the Favor.

Work Truck Week includes product displays, education, and multiple networking opportunities to help bring the industry together.
