The 2021 model of the Kia Niro arrives as a carryover of the 2020 model, but with technology and convenience enhancements, according to a news release from the OEM. The Niro EV delivers an estimated 239 miles of range on a single charge and may be eligible for state and local utility incentives, depending on location of purchase.
Key features include:
- Standard rear occupant alert (door-logic based)
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Remote start functionality
- Expanded available DriveWise Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including leading vehicle departure alert, highway driving assist and navigation-based smart cruise control
Trim level options come in EX or EX premium. The Niro has a 64 kWh battery and 201-horsepower electric motor.
