Toyota's RAV4 was the first compact SUV in the U.S. market when it arrived in the early 1990s. For 2017, the RAV4 adds the Toyota Safety Sense package on all trim levels. It runs on a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that's paired to 6-speed transmission. The roomy compact SUV offers 38.4 cu-ft. of trunk space, and 73.4 cu-ft. with the seats down. The GMC Sierra HD All Terrain X joins the lineup for the 2017 model year as the third off-road oriented GMC truck following similar treatment for the Canyon and Sierra 1500. Ford has introduced one of the most advanced transmissions on the market with its 2017 F-150 pickup.
