Ford's 2019 Ranger

The 2019 Ranger returns after an eight-year hiatus. The earlier model was a staple in pest control fleets such as Rollins Orkin.

The 2019 Ranger will be available in three trims, including XL, XLT, and Lariat.

The Ranger offers a blind-spot warning system for towing applications.

Base models come with a 4.2-inch dash screen, while the Lariat offers an 8-inch touchscreen.

All Ranger models are powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four that's mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Our tested model is the rear-wheel-drive XL SuperCab with 6-foot box and 126.8-inch wheelbase. The pickup is also available as with a SuperCrew cab with a 5-foot box.

The Ranger retails for at least $25,395

A spray-in bedliner is available for $495.

The base Ranger (shown) includes cloth seats. Carpet floors with mats can be added.

Climate controls are located in an easy-to-reach location just above the shift lever.
