The 2003 Dodge Magnum Concept led to a production version of the wagon from 2004-2008, including a police version starting in 2006. It would be the last mid-size wagon sold by an American automaker.

The 1989 Dodge Viper Concept came about after then-Chrysler President Bob Lutz directed engineers to develop a modern equivalent to the Shelby Cobra roadsters of the 1960s. Three years later, Dodge introduced the first production Viper.

The 1993 Dodge Viper GTS Concept was inspired by the GT racing cars of the 1960s such as the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe.
