[1977] AF's Fleet Dealer of the Year Awards

It was a big day for Datsun as factory people (from left) George Trimay, Ray Barnett, Jack Nielsen, and Charlie Ross accepted trophies on behalf of Phillip Ariew, John L. Taylor and Iris Clinard. The three winning Datsun dealers are all from California.

It took the efforts of two Bobits to handle the Toyota presentation, with the factory's Charlie higgins standing in for Gerald Bean, Orville Verner and Tony Cerrito.

American Motors Corp. first place winner for 1976 was Joseph Rosenfeld (center). He is flanked by Vic Kray (left) and Harry Scharf -- factory folks who accepted for Chuck Cascella and Mike Glowney.

Dodge and Chrysler-Plymouth awards were presented to (from left) Jay Peterfeund, Jim Berkley, Jack Webb and the factory's R.G. Allen, who accepted for Dave Vandergrift. A total of 6,735 fleet sales were logged by the winning Dodge and Chrysler-Plymouth dealers last year.

For the second year, Mark Rosenstock (holding large plaque) was the number one Oldsmobile fleet dealer. Olds honors were also shared by Tom Scolan and Bill Mortimer. The presentation was made more festive by five factory people who extended congratulations.

The Pontiac Division was represented by (from left) Nelson Karney, Earl and Kitty Stewart who won for 1,600 fleet sales while with Ruckle last year, and the factory's Mac McConnell and Al Chakmak.
