Wheels Inc. named Canfield Equipment as the recipient of its 2017 Upfit Supplier of the Year Award for performance excellence, exemplary service, and innovation. This is the second year the award has been presented by the fleet management company.
As part of its supply chain management protocol, Wheels monitors suppliers’ monthly performance in key metrics, including on-time completion, defects per truck, quote turn times, and cycle time. The Supplier of the Year distinction rewards the upfitter who achieved best annual performance overall.

Based in Warren, Mich., with a second location in Maryland, Canfield Equipment Service Inc. is an upfitter for fleet, commercial, and law enforcement vehicles and customized commercial van conversions. Wheels presented the award to Canfield’s executive team on November 10 at the Wheels headquarters in Des Plaines, Ill.
