Muncie Power's Fancher to Retire

Muncie Power Products Chris Fancher, senior vice president of information technology and administration, will retire at the end of December, according to the company.
Muncie Power Products, which is based in Muncie, Ind., is a leading manufacturer of power take-offs and fluid power components for a company that has been serving the truck equipment market since 1935.
Since beginning his career with the company in 1978, Fancher has served in various capacities including as a shipping and receiving clerk, bench assembler, accounting clerk/manager, internal auditor and inventory control, data processing manager, corporate controller, vice president and corporate controller, senior vice president finance and administration, and senior vice president IT and administration.
He has also served on the board of Muncie Power Products since 2006. From 2006-2011 he served as treasurer and in 2012 assumed the additional duties of secretary.
Fancher has also served on the board of Meredian Health Services in Muncie.
