Auto Truck Group has appointed Scott Walters as a fleet sales manager who will specialize in growing the company's upfitting business for Mercedes-Benz vans.
Auto Truck Group has appointed Scott Walters as a fleet sales manager who will specialize in growing the company's upfitting business for Mercedes-Benz vans.
Walters joins Auto Truck Group from Mercedes-Benz where he most recently served as regional fleet manager and was responsible for growing the overall Sprinter van business to both fleet managers as well as dealerships in a 12-state region.
In his new role as fleet sales manager, Walters will be tasked with streamlining and growing the company's overall Mercedes-Benz van business nationwide.
“The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van provides versatility and unique upfitting specifications to our clients," said Jim Looysen, director of vocational sales. "Scott will bring a fresh perspective to help us deliver innovative solutions to meet our customers' distinct needs for these multipurpose vehicles."
Auto Truck Group has begun offering ship-through service for Mercedes-Benz vans from a new South Carolina facility and has been added to the Mercedes Master Solutions program.
