Nearly 400 attendees converged at the Hilton Minneapolis for Element Fleet Management's 2019 Fleet Roundtable, which took place from April 10 to 12. The theme for this year was "Connection Starts Here." Photos by Mike Antich.

Jon Parker, EVP enterprise sales for Element, said the company’s commitment to its fleet customers is to make their fleets safer, smarter, and more productive.

Rusty Barron, VP North America, Global Commercial Fleet for Shell Fleet Solutions, spoke on the Shell corporate safety culture, which is the industry “gold standard” with its Goal Zero” safety program with an emphasis on accountability. If an employee is discovered using a cell while driving, “they have chosen not to work at Shell.”

Showcasing its global reach, Element held a discussion on “Establishing a Global Fleet Program” presented by members of the Element-Arval Global Fleet Alliance. Element Fleet Management held its 2019 Fleet Roundtable Conference at the Hilton Minneapolis April 10-12, 2019. The theme for this year’s Fleet Roundtable was the “Connection Starts Here.” There we’re almost 400 attendees comprised of fleet customers, suppliers, and Element personnel. In addition, there was a sizable contingent of international fleet customers from Mexico, Australia, and Europe.

The 2019 Element Impact Award for “Technology Optimization” was presented to Dean Dunton, PMP, Director Commercial Delivery & Fleet Operations for Advance Auto Parts, who is second from the right.

The 2019 Element Impact Award tor “Total Cost of Ownership” was won by Jim Howard, Facilities & Fleet Management for Tampa Armature Works (TAW), who is pictured second from the right.

The winner of the 2019 Element Impact Award for “Organizational Leadership” was Karla Guajardo, commodity manager at Honeywell Corp. During her award presentation, Guajandro was described as a dynamic inclusive leader.

The winner of the 2019 Element Impact Award for “Rookie of the Year” was Rollin Matsui, global procurement compliance and Policy manager for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, who was unable to attend the event. Accepting the award in his honor was Chris Pike, Element team rep, who appears second from left in the photo.

Chris Gittens, EVP mid-market sales for Element, hosted the presentation of the Element Impact Awards, which are presented annually at the Element Fleet Roundtable to fleet customers in recognition of outstanding achievements.
