LOS ANGELES – The upcoming 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show announced that automakers plan to debut 49 vehicles at this year’s event. Automakers planning debuts include the Detroit Three, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors; European brands BMW, Fiat, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Volkswagen; and Asian brands including Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota.

Notable vehicle debuts at this year’s show include electric vehicles from the Detroit Three, with the Fiat 500e from Chrysler; an undisclosed world debut from Ford; and the Chevrolet Spark EV plug-in electric hybrid from GM. Honda also plans to debut its new Accord plug-in hybrid.
