February 02, 2012

AUBURN HILLS, MI – Chrysler is bringing a new five-passenger Fiat-brand model, the Fiat 500L, to the U.S. in 2013, and released images of the new model, shown here.

The automaker plans to show the new vehicle at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Chrysler said the vehicle will be built at the Fiat plant in Kragujevac, Serbia.

Chrysler hasn't yet released powertrain details about the U.S. version of the vehicle, but according to the Italian release from Fiat, the European model will feature a 1.4L Multiair engine (the Fiat 500 in the U.S. has a 1.4L Multiair engine) and a 1.3L Multijet turbodiesel engine.
