New Study Finds U.S. Diesel Vehicles Have Lower Total Cost of Ownership Than Gasoline Vehicles

Diesels save owners $2,000 to $6,000 over three to five years during ownership and have better fuel efficiency and lower depreciation than gas vehicles, according to the University of Michigan, Transportation Research Institute.
