GM Accelerates Car Production Cuts

General Motors will cease production at five of its assembly plants, including three that produce passenger cars it plans to discontinue amid the shift in consumer preference for trucks and utility vehicles, the company announced.

Chevrolet Debuts 2015 Silverado Custom Pickup

Chevrolet has debuted the Silverado Custom, which is based on the double-cab Silverado LS. The Custom package adds 20-inch aluminum wheels, chrome bumpers, a body-colored top cap above the front bumper, and chrome mirror caps and door handles.
