Stertil-Koni has introduced a new ALI certified, low-profile light truck adapter specifically engineered for a broad range of light-duty vehicles with minimal ground clearance, including pickup trucks, SUVs, and vans.

Raising a vehicle in this manner – front and rear lifting – requires only two mobile columns and provides true wheels-free access to the undercarriage of the vehicle – including wheels and tires.

The new Stertil-Koni light truck adapter has a wide reach and a very short standing height, allowing it to fit under a greater range of vehicles, thereby overcoming the inherent limitations of many existing adapters. In addition, height extensions and pads can be added to the adapter to suit various vehicle heights. These features make the adapter well suited for passenger cars, pickup trucks, and non-revenue fleets, according to the company.

Because the adapter can easily be attached to existing mobile columns, maintenance shops can significantly increase the range of vehicles they are able to service without making a major investment or having to buy new vehicle lifts. Each adapter has a capacity of 5,500 pounds, or 11,000 pounds per pair.
