Yokohama's Geolandar Line has a new tire for compact SUVs. The Geolandar G055, which is available in the U.S. and Canada, is initially available in 19 sizes, from 16 to 20 inches and in H- and V-speed ratings.

Features of the new G055 include a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, transition grooves with notch sipes to help maintain tread block rigidity for improved mileage and handling, cicumferential zigzag grooves to resist hydroplaning and an integrated shoulder and full nylon cover to improve stability.
