NAFA to Host Legislative Summit and DOT Training
NAFA Fleet Management Association is hosting a DOT training and its annual Fleet Legislative Summit in October in Virginia.

NAFA's two events are both taking place at the Hilton Arlington hotel in Virginia.
The NAFA Fleet Management Association announces two upcoming opportunities to influence the world of fleet management, being held over three days at the 2021 DC Summit. A DOT training will help ensure your fleet is compliant, and the Fleet Legislative Summit will shed light on how federal policies developed in Washington affect fleet management.
DOT Training: Oct. 18
Get up to date on the countless federal and state program regulations that can be intimidating even for the most experienced fleet professional. NAFA’s DOT Guide Outline will provide critical insights and advanced methodologies needed to support fleet organizations in better understanding the important tasks necessary to maintain program compliance.
This half-day event will cover how to utilize the Commercial Motor Vehicle program to increase your organization’s ability to maintain compliance; understand the process required to register your Commercial Motor Vehicle Uniform Carrier Registration Act compliance using the FMCSA MCS-150 form; dive into the Driver Management requirements including, CDL licensing, Drug Clearinghouse, DQ Files; and how to maintain and manage your company's CSA Score.
This event will coincide with the annual NAFA Legislative Summit, presented with Bobit (that’s us!).
Fleet Legislative Summit: Oct. 19-20
Here, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the most pressing issues facing fleet managers and meet key staff working on policy issues. NAFA’s legislative counsel, Pat O’Connor, and his team will cover a multitude of topics, including more about Fiscal Note, the software that NAFA members can use to monitor global issues and policy affairs.
More importantly, the summit gives attendees a unique perspective on how federal policies affect fleet management. And, it offers you the chance to shape that process by speaking with lawmakers, administration officials, and regulators.
This year's Legislative Summit will focus on the following issue topics:
Auto Industry Priorities
Data Access
Outlook for Electric Vehicle Tax Credits
Connected Vehicle Regulatory Update
Vehicle Safety
Both events are open for registration and take place at the Hilton Arlington hotel in Virginia.
