Tesla's Model S

The EPA has rated the Model S P100D with the miles per gallon equivalent of 92 in the city and 105 on the highway.

The Model SP100D can produce a 0-60 mph time of 2.5 seconds on “Ludicrous Mode," according to Tesla.

The Model S is 196 inches long, 86.2 inches wide, and has a wheelbase of 116.5 inches.

The Model S has a 17-inch touchscreen that controls most of the vehicle's functions, and includes the ability to locate Tesla Supercharger stations. Supercharger stations can replenish half the vehicle’s battery in as little as 20 minutes, according to the automaker.

The Model S is available in both rear wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. The powertrain includes the battery and one or more motors, drive inverters and gear boxes, according to Tesla.

Tesla vehicles are offered with a four year, 50,000 mile new-vehicle limited warranty and an eight year, unlimited mile battery and drive unit warranty, according to the automaker.

The Model S has a rear cargo volume of 26.3 cubic feet, which can expand to 58.1 cubic feet with seats down.

The Tesla Model SP100D is powered by a 100 kWh battery and has a range of over 300 miles on a full charge, according to Tesla. It also provides 5.3 cubic feet of front trunk cargo space.
