Ram Opens Orders for 2025 Ram ProMaster EV Cargo Van

Ram has opened orders for the all-new 2025 Ran ProMaster EV cargo van. Customers can now build and price their van model through www.ramtrucks.com and finalize their purchases with their preferred dealer.

The 2025 Ram ProMaster EV is the brand’s first available fully electrified vehicle. The cargo van is designed as a purpose-built, highly customizable van designed to meet the needs of commercial customers.

“Our freedom of choice approach with powertrain extends to the Ram Professional lineup with an appropriate solution for last-mile delivery in the Ram ProMaster EV,” said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand chief executive officer. “With front-wheel drive and a low step-in height, the ProMaster is a solid player and continues to perform well in a wide variety of business sectors such as the growing home delivery environment, construction services wholesale, and IT Services, among others.”

2025 ProMaster EV Configurations and Pricing

With a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $56,495 (plus $1,995 destination), the 2025 Ram ProMaster EV cargo van model will arrive at dealerships in the second quarter of 2025.

Three model configurations will be available for commercial fleets, including the returning step van model and two cargo van models.

The step van model now starts at $69,995 (plus $1,995 destination) and includes a no-charge Safety & Convenience Group and an increased city range of 180 miles, making it ideal for last-mile delivery services.

Battery Capacity and Payload Capabilities

The new Ram ProMaster EV offers a standard 110-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack offering a combined city/highway range of up to 164 miles. A 200-kilowatt (kW) electric drive module (EDM) delivers 268 hp, 302 lb.-ft. of torque, and standard front-wheel-drive capability.

The cargo van model will be available in two configurations, including 12-ft. and extended 13-ft versions (both with 159-in. wheelbases). The ProMaster offers up to 3,020 lbs. of payload capacity, while the step van configuration can carry up to 2,876 lbs. before options and upfits.

ProMaster EV’s battery is positioned under the floor in the vehicle’s center, which maintains a flat floor while preserving cargo volume equivalent to internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

Ram’s Future With Commercial Electric Vehicles

Ram offers a full lineup of pickups and commercial vehicles, including the Ram 1500, 2500/3500 Heavy Duty, 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab, and ProMaster vans. Ram is launching the new 2025 Chassis Cab line with improvements to help customers and upfitters and has expanded off-road performance truck offerings to meet growing commercial needs.

Ram Professional is making considerable changes in process, execution, and resources, focusing on commercial offerings, B2B-focused expertise, and sales and service support, which cater to a more extensive range of business applications.
