The G-Class will arrive with some changes, including a completely redesigned interior with two equipment packages, including Exclusive Interior and Exclusive Interior Plus. Interior dimensions have been expanded for all occupants, including 5.9 inches of additional rear legroom.

Mercedes-Benz has released some details about the vehicle's off-road capabilities. It will increase ground clearance between the axles by six millimeters to 241 mm. Driving stability at angles increases seven degrees to 35 degrees. Angle of approach increases one degree to 31 degrees. Breakover angle approaches one degree to 26 degrees.
