Jaguar Land Rover's Range Rover Sport will add a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel engine and other enhancements for the 2017 model year, according to the company.

The diesel engine is expected to improve fuel economy over the outgoing gasoline 3.0L TDV6. The EPA has not yet released fuel economy ratings for the vehicle, yet in European testing, the vehicle achieved 45 mpg in the combined driving cycle.

The 2017 Range Rover Sport will bring driver-assisting features such as Advanced Tow Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Intelligent Speed Limiter. The vehicle adds Low Traction Launch technology to enhance off-road capability.

The vehicle will arrive this winter.
