Earlier this year, Ford announced it would add a natural gas or propane gaseous-prep package available from the factory for fleets wanting to set up the truck as a bi-fuel or dedicated alternative-fuel vehicle. Ford has also announced it would add the Pro Trailer Backup Assist option that will help drivers needing to back up a truck with attached trailer.
The 2016 F-150 will also feature SYNC 3, Ford's revamped infotainment system that offers enhanced voice recognition, high-speed performance, a capacitive touch screen, and simplified graphical interface. The system replaces Sync with MyFord Touch.
