The 2016 Hyundai Elantra will be available in a Value Edition model that provides $1,000 in savings from other models, according to the automaker.
Hyundai has also added more standard features to the Elantra Limited model while maintaining the same starting price and lowered the price of the Elantra Sport without a leather interior and power sunroof. The Elantra will arrive at dealerships this month with a starting retail price of $18,075.
The Elantra Value Edition will slot in above the Elantra SE base model. It retails for $550 more than an Elantra SE with the Popular Equipment option. The Elantra Value Edition includes 16-inch alloy wheels, power sunroof, leather steering wheel and shift knob, proximity key with push start button, heated front seats, chrome molding, side mirror turn signals, and tilting telescopic steering wheel.
For 2016, Elantra Limited now comes standard with a proximity key with push-button start and dual automatic temperature control at a $600 value savings, according to Hyundai. Elantra Sport removes standard leather seats and power sunroof for a lower starting price.
