LeasePlan USA will begin offering Lyft rides to streamline travel and fleet spend management for its company clients and their employees, the fleet management company has announced.
Under the agreement, fleet drivers will be able to book a Lyft whenever their vehicles are in for repair, without needing to report the expense.
"Our fleet clients are looking for ways to better control each aspect of their budgets, including ride-hailing," said Jeff Schlesinger, LeasePlan's president and CEO. "Many are also incorporating policies to address the ever-changing point to point service, and they need a partner to help manage it."
