Chevrolet Colorado Box Delete Ordering Opens
The 2016 Colorado Box Delete package is now available on Colorado Work Truck rear-wheel-drive extended cab models and is offered exclusively with the 305-hp 3.6L V-6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Colorado Box Delete package (RPO order code ZW9) is available on Colorado Work Truck rear-wheel-drive extended cab models and is offered exclusively with the 305-hp 3.6L V-6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission. A $660 credit is applied to the Colorado’s suggested retail price, when the option is selected, according to General Motors.
With 2,244 pounds (maximum) payload, the box delete provides the opportunity for service body, stake body, and other aftermarket applications.

Additional vehicle and package highlights include a 6,001-pound GVWR, temporary taillamps installed on the rear of the frame, rear bumper deleted, full-size spare tire included, eight body mount provisions (four per frame rail), Z82 trailering package, and a G80 locking differential.
Additionally, an option to delete the rear seat for improved cargo capacity and versatility is available with the Colorado Work Truck extended cab regardless of whether the box stays or goes. A $240 credit is applied to the Colorado’s suggested retail price when the seat delete option is selected.
“The Colorado was developed with the upfitter industry in mind,” said Mike Jones, product manager, mid-pickups, CNG and LPG for General Motors. “Input from body manufacturers and fleet owners was essential in properly equipping the box delete option.”
