Nissan’s 2017 Rogue Hybrid has arrived at Nissan dealers in the West, Northwest, and Mountain regions and retails for at least $27,180, the automaker announced.

Nissan is offering the front-wheel-drive gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle in the SV and SL trim grades with available all-wheel-drive. The compact SUV goes on sale nationwide in the spring.

While the SV FWD retails for the base price of $27,180, the SL FWD trim will retail for $32,100. Meanwhile, the SV AWD  is priced at $28,530 and the SL AWD will retail for $33,450. Prices include destination charges.

Nissan projects the FWD trims for city/highway/combined driving to come in at 33/35/34 mpg. Meanwhile, the AWD trims should deliver at 31/34/33 mpg, according to Nissan internal testing results, which are subject to EPA confirmation.

The vehicle's powertrain combines a 2.0L 16-valve DOHC aluminum-alloy inline 4-cylinder engine with a compact lithium-ion battery and one-motor, two-clutch control. The gasoline engine is rated at 141 hp and 144 lb.-ft. of torque, while the 30-kW electric motor is rated at 40 hp and 118 lb.-ft. of torque, according to the automaker.

Features exclusive to the Rogue Hybrid that are not found on gasoline-powered models include second row seating with a 60/40 split folding design and additional storage space under the rear cargo area.
