Volkswagen will discontinue its Jetta Hybrid and offer a pink Beetle and all-wheel-drive versions of the Golf SportWagen and Golf Alltrack for the 2017 model year, the automaker has announced.

The Alltrack arrives as the company's lone new vehicle for 2017. It arrives as an all-wheel-drive version of the SportWagen with a raised ride height and body additions to give it an off-road look.

For 2017, Volkswagen will also offer driver assistance features on lower trim models, a simplified Tiguan lineup, and a Golf GTI Sport trim between the S and SE models.

Volkswagen is ending production of the Jetta Hybrid after four model years. Other Jetta lineup changes include simplifying to four models (S, SE, SEL, and SEL Premium) and standard rear-view camera on the base S.

Changes to the Passat, which had a mid-cycle update in 2016, include standard forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking across all trims, standard blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert on R-Line and SE trims, and new V-6 SE with technology package.

The Golf SportWagen adds 4Motion all-wheel drive on S trim, new drive assistance features on SEL, and realigned driver assistance packages for all trims.

For the Beetle, Volkswagen will offer the limited edition pink model and retro-looking Classic model with value-oriented connectivity.

The Tiguan adds two models, including Wolfsburg and Sport, and delete two models, including the R-Line and SE. An interior leather package is available.

For the Touareg, the Wolfsburg edition replaces the Lux model, and the drive assistance package and a parking assist feature known as Park Distance Control (Park Pilot) is standard across the range.
