WASHINGTON - The Electric Drive Transportation Association announced that both U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood are scheduled to speak at the group's annual conference, set for April 19-21 at the Washington Convention Center.
Chu will kick off the conference's April 19 "Innovation Motorcade" ride, drive and charge event that will make stops at several key Washington, D.C., locations.
Workshops will address such topics as fleet applications and charge infrastructure deployment.
