Lexus GS 450h, the Other Kind of Hybrid

TORRANCE, CA - The Lexus GS 450h is a full hybrid that has both an electric motor and gasoline engine. Depending on the driving conditions, you can drive in electric motor only, gasoline engine only, or a combination of the two, according to www.chicago.suntimes.com.

 

The regular GS is a rear-wheel-drive sports sedan. The GS 450h is no different. The EPA fuel estimates for this hybrid are 22 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. The gasoline-powered GS 460 has city/highway estimates of 17/24.
