The ElectraMeccanica Solo Gets a Track Workout
Solo is a three-wheel, single-occupant electric vehicle that fits the space between passenger vehicles and micromobility, according to Paul Rivera, ElectraMeccanica's CEO. The company is selling to fleets for urban delivery and service applications.
Bobit Business Media fleet editor Chris Brown takes the first all-electric ElectraMeccanica Solo, hot off the production line, for a debut test drive.
This three-wheeler will be available in 2021 in California, Oregon, and Arizona. ElectraMeccanica sees Solo as a commuter vehicle, within sharing pods, and for fleets in delivery and service applications with limited cargo needs.
