Ford's 2016-MY Fleet Preview

Kevin Koswick, director of North American Fleet, Lease & Remarketing Operations (NAFLRO), updated attendees on the company’s fleet sales initiatives.

Matt VanDyke, director, global Lincoln marketing, sales and service for Ford Motor Co., spoke on Lincoln’s focus on fleet sales.

Ford showcased its telematics offerings powered by Telogis. Attendees learned about capturing performance metrics such as excessive idling, which can be monitored in real-time.

Fleet managers were given the opportunity to test the trailering performance of F-150s with trucks equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 and 2.7L EcoBoost V-6.

 Fleet managers dressed for the occasion at the opening night reception at the Circle R Ranch, which included a rodeo performance. Enjoying the moment is Mike Crowley, (center) general marketing manager, commercial vehicles, for Ford NAFLRO.

There were plenty of networking opportunities following a traditional BBQ dinner at the Circle R Ranch, the site of the welcome reception.

One of the driving events was a high-performance street drive with a timed slalom. Models available to test were the Mustang, Edge Sport, and Taurus SHO. 

The product drive took place at AT&T Stadium, where attendees could test drive the entire lineup of Ford products.
