The 2019 Global Fleet Conference in Miami, Fla., was held at the Hilton Miami Downtown from June 4 to 6. There were 372 attendees at the show. The Global Fleet Conference is co-produced by Bobit Business Media and Nexus Communication. Photos by Mike Antich and Andy Lundin.

Matt Dyer, CEO of LeasePlan USA, explores how technology plays a role in the transition to sustainable transportation during a panel titled "Realizing Sustainable Mobility in the Digital Era." He touched on the evolution of EVs and other low-emission technologies across the world, developing strategies to sustain a healthy fleet, and more.

The day after the final day of the conference was a strategic planning meeting toward an initiative to develop a global fleet certification program in other regional fleet markets around the world.

 Ralf Wessel, manager global security, global fleet & corporate facilities for AGCO Corporation, presented real-world guidelines on how to develop a comprehensive global acquisition strategy. This included essential guidelines necessary to create a strategy that is objective, manageable, and cost-effective.

Patti Earley, president of NAFA, and Pedro Conte, Insituto PARAR, speak during a presentation regarding an initiative to launch a multi-regional fleet manager certification program. On behalf of NAFA and PARAR, Earley and Conte presented the outreach initiative to discuss the feasibility of expanding region-specific fleet manager certification programs around the world.
