Automotive Fleet announces the release of the 2025–2026 Fleet Fact Book & Buyer’s Guide, the largest and most data-rich edition of the publication in more than a decade. The new Fleet Fact Book is now available exclusively in digital format on TheFleetSource.com, Bobit Business Media’s newly launched digital sourcing platform for fleet professionals.

Automotive Fleet print subscribers will continue to receive the issue through the mail. And for the first time, the Fleet Fact Book can be purchased through Amazon.com, where users can receive a printed, mailed copy.

The 2025–2026 Fleet Fact Book represents a significant expansion in both scope and analysis compared to recent editions, containing more than 50 pages of fleet research, market data, and forward-looking analysis designed to help the fleets and fleet vendors navigate a rapidly evolving industry.

“This edition reflects a renewed commitment to fleet intelligence, one of the pillars of our brand,” said Chris Brown, associate publisher of Automotive Fleet. “We’ve expanded the data, broadened the analysis, and incorporated insights across multiple fleet segments to create a resource that better reflects how fleet decisions are made today.”

Expanded Scope, Broader Industry Perspective

Unlike previous editions, the 2025–2026 Fleet Fact Book is a collaborative effort drawing on editorial expertise from across Bobit Business Media’s fleet brands, including Automotive Fleet, Work Truck, Government Fleet, and Heavy Duty Trucking.

This multi-brand approach provides a more comprehensive view of fleet operations across commercial, vocational, government, and heavy-duty environments.

Key areas of coverage include:

  • U.S. commercial and non-fleet market census data

  • Fleet operating costs and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis

  • Powertrain and fuel outlooks for 2026

  • New and used vehicle trends, residual values, and lifecycle costs

  • Fleet safety survey results and pilot program insights

  • A 25-year retrospective on the evolution of fleet telematics

  • A New Home on TheFleetSource.com

The Fleet Fact Book has moved from its traditional home on the Automotive Fleet site to TheFleetSource.com. The move reflects an evolution in how the Fleet Fact Book is intended to be used. The Fleet Source is a new digital sourcing platform designed to connect trusted fleet intelligence with supplier discovery, research, and evaluation tools.

TheFleetSource.com allows fleet professionals to explore Fact Book data alongside relevant supplier solutions, curated content, and emerging technologies — all in one centralized environment.

As a result of this integration, the Fleet Fact Book is no longer hosted on Automotive-Fleet.com or other Bobit magazine sites.

“The Fleet Fact Book is no longer just a reference guide,” said Brown. “Placing it on TheFleetSource makes it easier for fleet professionals to use the data as part of their sourcing and decision-making process.”
