The NAFA 2025 Institute & Expo, held from April 28–30 in Long Beach, California, attracted over 2,100 fleet and mobility professionals from the corporate, government, public safety, utility, and education sectors. They came from 48 U.S. states, 14 countries, and seven Canadian provinces.

NAFA celebrated 70 new Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) graduates this year, who came from over 20 U.S. states and four countries, encompassing sectors such as public safety, government, utilities, and education.

Futurist and AI advisor Timothy Papandreou delivered a keynote that challenged fleet professionals to reframe artificial intelligence not as a job killer, but as a powerful copilot. “AI isn’t going to take your job,” he said. “But it will take over parts of your job you don’t want to do — and that’s a good thing.”
