Mercedes-Benz to Offer Diesel C-Class in 2016
Mercedes-Benz will produce a diesel variant of its C-Class entry luxury sedan and roll out its new SUV models with the 2016 model year, the automaker has announced.

Mercedes-Benz will produce a diesel variant of its C-Class entry luxury sedan and roll out its new luxury SUVs with the 2016 model year, the automaker has announced.
Mercedes-Benz released its full 2016 model-year lineup, including some pricing information, on June 12.
Mercedes-Benz is introducing the diesel-powered C300d 4Matic, which will go on sale in February. The new C350e plug-in hybrid will arrive in September. The C400 has been replaced by the C450 AMG Sport. Pricing has not been released for these models.
The new S550e plug-in hybrid will arrive in California in early August and retail for $96,575, including destination. The vehicle will then be available in other zero-emission vehicle states.
The GLE mid-size luxury SUV, which is replacing the M-Class, will retail starting at $52,025 including a $925 destination charge for the base GLE350. Other models include the GLE350 with 4Matic all-wheel drive for $54,525, diesel-powered GLE300d 4Matic for $53,425, and GLE400 4Matic for $65,525. Mercedes-Benz will also offer the GLE500e 4Matic plug-in hybrid. Pricing has not been set for that vehicle.
The GLC SUV, which is replacing the GLK, will be available as a GLC300 and GLC300 4Matic when it arrives in November.
