Mondelez International’s senior global fleet manager John Dmochowsky was named the 2017 Professional Fleet Manager of the Year during a ceremony at the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association's (AFLA) annual conference in Las Vegas on September 18.

Dmochowsky, who was nominated for the award in 2012 and 2015, oversees the Mondelez International strategic global fleet initiative. He manages 10,000 fleet vehicles globally and has been with the company for 16 years. His previous roles at Mondelez International include serving as senior sales fleet manager, and earlier in his career, he took on the role of managing the sales fleet operations.
He also serves on AFLA's board of directors and General Motors commercial sounding board. Since 2011, he has been a fleet management seminar instructor for NAFA. He previously served as AFLA president from 2013 to 2014.
Recipients of the award are full-time commercial fleet managers who control a company-owned or leased fleet in excess of 100 cars and light trucks combined. They are recognized by their peers for their abilities and accomplishments.
