Genesis Cars to Offer Amazon Alexa Connectivity

Hyundai's Genesis brand will add connectivity for Amazon's Alexis service that will allow a driver to send commands to the vehicle from one of Amazon's connected devices, including Echo, Tap, Echo Dot and Fire TV.
The feature, which is known as Amazon Alexa Skill for Genesis, will be included as part of Genesis Connected Car Services with its G90 and G80 luxury sedans. Purchasers receive three years of complimentary service.
Using Alexa Skill, a user can remotely start the engine, control climate settings, remotely lock or unlock doors, and remotely control horn and lights.
Genesis G90 owners will receive a complimentary Amazon.com gift card redeemable toward an Amazon Echo.
