North American Car, Truck of the Year Awards Given
Ford's aluminum-body F-150 and Volkswagen's Golf family have been named the North American Truck/Utility of the Year and North American Car of the Year for the 2015 model year.

Ford's aluminum-body F-150 and Volkswagen's Golf family have been named the North American Truck/Utility of the Year and North American Car of the Year for the 2015 model year.
The awards, which are given by a panel of U.S. and Canadian automotive journalists, coincide with the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The 2015 F-150 was picked over the Chevrolet Colorado and Lincoln MKC. The Volkswagen Golf was picked over the Ford Mustang and Hyundai Genesis.
In the fleet world, Automotive Fleet chose the F-150 as the Fleet Truck of the Year and the Chevrolet Cruze as the Fleet Car of the Year in December.
