Subaru of America will show its 2015 Legacy concept mid-size sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week, as a sleeker departure for the redesign of its flagship vehicle.
Subaru is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the Legacy with the 1989 model year. Subaru introduced the Legacy as a four-door compact car, and reintroduced it as a mid-size sedan for the 1994 model year. The concept vehicle will provide "a look at the styling cues for future Legacy models," according to the automaker.
Engine specs remain under wraps, but Subaru announced the vehicle will be offered with all-wheel drive. The concept vehicle arrives with an ocean silver metallic paint scheme. The Legacy's front design now features a hexagonal grille and a hawk-eye headlamp. It will be shown with 21-inch wheels.
